May 2008 : Canal Zoom presents Alterwave and its technologies.

The Belgian television from Gembloux, Canal Zoom, visit Alterwave at the end of April in order to present and explain the basics of interactive mobile marketing.

Alterwave is shown as a pioneer in the use of the Bluetooth technology: a high valuable media for the advertisers and for the consumer.

April 2008 : Alterwave exhibit at the NAB Show in Las Vegas (USA).

From April 14th to 17th, Alterwave will exhibit at the NAB Show - a global forum for technologies - in Las Vegas. Last year, the event had more than 110 000 visitors and around 1500 exhibitors.

In relation with the AWEX (Walloon Export and Foreign Investment Agency), Alterwave have the opportunity to go and promote their products and services to content creators, managers, distributors and all influential professionals attending the event and coming from all over the world.

Being present at the NAB Show may also be a good occasion for Alterwave to find new partners to sell its solutions abroad.

Oct. 2007 : Europe 2 create interactive communication for the Video Game Festival in Paris.

Lagardère Group ask Bluetouch Communication and Alterwave to support Europe 2 and Europe 2 TV for their first Bluetooth mobile marketing operation at the Paris (France) video game festival.

The challenge was high with the objective to differentiate from traditional communication channels to better reach the young mobile and techno freak generation.

An interactive Bluetooth zone was created at the entrance of the festival signalled by highly visible totems. Promogirls were encouraging visitors and generated the buzz around the event. The challenge was also technical : sending high definition videos and unique coupons to more than 30.000 people. The success was beyond expectations.

Sept. 2007 : La Foire de Marseille, the organizers of the trade show, created the buzz on the Vieux Port, a very famous and crowed place in Marseille. They choose to go mobile with the objective to attract the local population with a very attractive and exclusive offer: two entrances for the price of one!

Thanks to Alterwave's Bluetooth hotspots and Bluetouch Communication's logistics, young and not so young people were targeted by street teams and received unique coupons. The operation demonstrated the efficiency of this innovative communication channel, as the results showed high conversion ration and high people receptivity.

Sept. 2007 : Alterwave activites are presented and described on the Belgian national television (RTBF) for the launch of the network operated during the Rugby World Cup in France.

The minister of economy, Mr Marcourt, visits Alterwave premises and salutes the success of the company in supplying its technology and services to the most famous brands of soda drinks in the world.
